Very tasty and inexpensive. A traditional Vietnamese restaurant with great food. A great surprise. I will be back often.
MoreBun bo Hue here is amazing. Just the right amount of spice and my go to order here. Service is good too - tea is refilled. Don’t have to wait long for tables too. One small downside is that our jackets and clothe usually have a strong smell from the restaurant after leaving but that doesn’t stop us from going.
MoreThis is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the area. If you get a chance try the bun bo quang nam. Great lemon grass and spicy soup with marinated beef. The portion size is excellent and the restaurant is always clean.
Moresuch good viet food from middle region. So glad to try something other than pho. All thei dishes were delish!!!!! would definitely come back for more
MoreThis is what I'd call your standard Vietnamese place that will satisfy your needs. I got the pho tai sach (#16) and thought it was pretty good, soup wasn't too oily and didn't end up thirsty in the end. We also ordered dumplings (#4) and I would definitely recommend trying these as change of pace compared to the basic pho order; they're quite chewy with meet inside and you dip it in fish sauce.I would come here if you're in the area and craving Vietnamese food. Their food is decent and their prices are also pretty good. Service is also very quick if you're in a rush.
MoreGreat food here. Feels like Vietnam inside too. I had the #20 house special and the #1 banh beo and both were great. I love coming here every once in a while for a nice change of pace. This place serves central Vietnamese food and everything feels right from the time you step in the door until you pay. Definitely recommended!
MoreThe Cao Lay mixed noodle dish is mouthwatering and is a welcome change from a typical bowl of Pho, although you can still find the latter in the menu. Portions are average or on the small side and prices are average. Service is OK.
MoreBest bun bo hue served here !
Very authentic Vietnamese cuisine!! Price is affordable as well.
The way this place prepares Bun bo hue and Beef Stew is probably one of, if not the best compared to almost all the Pho places I've been to, super consistent quality and fast service, the rice dishes are really good, which my parents would always order the pan fried chicken dish every time we go there.
MoreGreat food everytime and service is always good
First time try this restaurant, clean and friendly! It’s not much choice (snacks) like other Vietnam restaurant but it’s comfortable .. foods are good and special, I love their special dessert drinks .. definitely will come back again
MoreSo delicious and good place to eat food . During a covid-19 distance away 2 meters to ensure safety.
MoreAfter spending a month in Vietnam, I’ve been searching for a place here that I can get some of my delicious favorites from my trip. This place was great. The food was good, the service was very fast and friendly. Not quite the same as what I had in Vietnam, but delicious nonetheless!
MoreThe Bun Bi Hue is amazing here, but the Cau Lau is a must try if you never heard of it
MoreGreat place. Always busy but fast service. My fav dish is the golden noodle Cao Lau.
MoreI love the food but I dont like the waiter (the young girl). She showed us attitude so bad!!! She dropped the chopsticks and the bowl into the table by annoyingly. I pay for the food, not for an uncomfortable attitude. I don't want to go back again!
Moreomg so good here especially love the bun bo hue soup.
Popular cafe style Vietnamese restaurant, highly recommend. Friendly staff & service, delicious food
MoreFantastic food, friendly and prompt service, reasonable prices. My wife and I loved our experience here (clean bathrooms too).
MoreI tried the dried shrimp rice cake and it was delicious. I also had the dry seafood pho. I was expecting a bowl of broth on the side, like other Vietnamese restaurants. The pho was tasty. I give this place a 4 stars because I still felt hungry after, which is not normal for me. the portions could have been larger and the price is around a $$. I would still go back again.
MoreAppetizers are five stars
Very good but smaller portions
This Vietnamese restaurant is highly rated, so we came here and tried their Vietnamese food. There is street parking near the restaurant. No private parking lot. The restaurant was quite full when we got there but we were lucky to get a table right away. The service was okay. Once we had ordered the food, it came quickly. The restaurant was very efficient. We ordered beef combination, rare beef and tendon and etc. with thin rice noodle in soup. The beef was tendered. But the tendon was quite chewy and hard and it was not fully cooked yet. All of us ordered thin rice noodle in soup with small and large sizes. The small ones were quite small though. The broth/soup was good but it had a very strong flavour of star anise. Some people might not like it though. Overall, the service, quality of food and pricing are acceptable and on average.
MorePho broth is to die for! One of the appetizers which I cant remember the name of (#2 on menu) is so delicious I dream about it in my sleep 😍😍
MoreExcellent noodles in a nice, clean setting. Modest prices and quick service. I had the special noodles for Hoi An which was noodles with shrimp and pork with a very flavorful sauce (#8). The banh bot lot was pretty good as well.
MoreService isn't bad and food's ok. Only consider coming here if Hoang yen (across the street) is too full.
MoreEvery restaurant you go to is noisy. People talk to communicate and workers talk to be able to serve us great food so that they understand what is happening front and back of kitchen. If the food is great and taste delicious, why does it matter how back of house works? Tell me what restaurant is quite? April Nguyen weren’t you that loser who sat by yourself?
MoreGreat small Vietnamese restaurant. Food and service was incredibly fast and food was tasty. It's great for if you want to try central vietnam food as most Vietnamese restaurants in Vancouver are southern Vietnam cuisine
MoreGreat food, quick service. Always delicious no matter what you order on the menu. My go to’s are the tapioca dumplings with pork and spicy broth with pork balls.
MoreService was very fast. Both dishes were delicious and didn't have an issue with little ingredients like some other places. The menu was very rare as it's also not just your regular phone/bun bo hue kind of restaurant.
MoreGreat little spot in the hood. Theres jist something about their broth that is so comforting!!
MoreThe tapioca dumplings (#4) is the best dishes I have tried. This dish is not common in Vietnamese restaurants. The service for this restaurant is quick, most items are served within 10 min or less. Although there may be line up during peak hours, tables for 4 or less usually turns around very quickly. One must try the dry noodle and also the sweet and spicy seafood noodle.
MoreI love Mi quang. The sauce is delicious. The tea favor is same as in Vietnam
The salad roll and their number 6: Mi Quang. The Mi Quang was amazing, the egg noodles were very yellow and chewy. The meat was a mix of crunchy shrimp and soft chewy pork slices. On the side it came with lettuce, fried onions and mint. The dish was a crazy mixture of different textures from the noodles, the meat and toppings(peanut, onions, that cracker looking thing). Soft, chewy, crispy, crunchy. When I bit into the mint, my whole mind, body and throat was cleared and the next thing I knew the bowl was empty. The restaurant was very open with lots of windows for natural light to come through. It had a clean and nice designed interior.
MoreVery nice flavors offered by many of the dishes here; not too light, not too heavy. Each dish was consistently made with care. I enjoy the items that's not often found in other Vietnamese restaurants. I would return again as the quality is above the standard Vietnamese restaurants in the area.
MoreI loved the variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes they had available. All the dishes i tried were delicious. Would definitely return to try the rest of the menu.
MoreORDER #9 - Lemon grass chicken, with egg on rice with salad and fish sauce. Might sound weird to a white person, but it’s fricken tasty combo! My wife had Pho, not sure what.. but it was tasty also.My only complaint... Wish they used environmentally friendly containers. They use a lot of styrofoam.
MoreGreat food! Different style to other Vietnamese restaurants I've had. The staff were great and very helpful with the recommendations.
MoreGreat and delicious pho!
Very nice Vietnamese restaurant, clean and neat. Food taste good and good temperature. Good service. Servers wear mask and gloves during the covid pendamic. Makes it feel safer. Will come back.
MorePho soup was flavourful.Lemongrass pork chop was delicious. Friendly staff 👍👍👍Washroom - super clean.
MoreSmall restaurant serves up decent Vietnamese food at modest prices.
Make sure to get No.8! It's a must have, its with half pork and shrimp, amazing sauce and lots of fresh greens on the side. I always have a soup on the side to finish the meal. They take Debit credit and cash!
MoreGood decent place. My favorite is Spicy Beef noodle and their streams dumplings.
I was here with my parents earlier and it was another wonderful visit having Pho. We previously planned to go to Song Huong and found out SH was closed due to construction. Parents ordered #21 BBH (small $9.50) and I got #20 Bun Bo Tai Quang Nam (small $9.50) they came out fast. My parents loved it and so did I! Soup was packed with flavours and it was plentiful of meat toppings, YES. Meat toppings were tender and delicious. Everything was perfect. We got lots of fresh bean sprouts with banana flowers, basils and limes with it. I'll convince my family to go here again since it's closer distance from my home.
MoreI recently came back from a trip to Vietnam and was craving some regional food from Hội An, and I'm so happy that I was able to find it here. The garlic sauce and pork for the cao lầu took me back to the streets of Vietnam. The banh beo and mi quảng was delicious. I will definitely be going back.
MoreI really like this place! They have delicious food with afordable price. But their service is a bit slow and not nice as much as their food. However, it is worth to go and try.
MoreYellow noodles with beef was sooo damn good. They also have these rice cakes with beef and shrimp. Condensed milk coffee is also the best here.
